The joy came home when our 9th graders integrated dances, dramas and songs in one show to give a Dashain vibe. They chanted mantras, they twirled their bodies and evoked the power of Goddess Durga on the stage. They also depicted the plights of Nepalese abroad and their traumatized psyche in the realistic play encircling the theme of Dashain and showing importance of Tika. The parents were delighted to observed the moving social scene and got their eyes wet as they witnessed the cathartic scenes.
