Dear Parents/Guardians, This is to inform you that the HPV (Human Papillomavirus) Vaccination Program is being conducted in coordination with the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Office / Health Department. We would like to share the following updates for your clarity: The school has received the consent forms for Grade 6 students. The vaccination for Grade 6 students is scheduled for tomorrow, 11 February (Wednesday), after 10:00 AM. Parents/guardians who wish to accompany their child are welcome to come to the school at the scheduled time. After the vaccination, parents may take their child home, if they so prefer. In addition, the vaccination program is also intended for eligible girl students of other grades who have not yet received the HPV vaccine. Parents who are interested in their child’s participation are kindly requested to contact the school administration for further information. Please note that vaccination will be administered only with written parental consent. We encourage parents to consult a healthcare professional if they have any questions or concerns regarding the vaccination. Dear Parents and Students, Warm greetings from The Excelsior School. This is to inform you that school will resume for all students from Grade 1 to Grade 10 on 6 Magh, following the winter break. All students are expected to report to school as per the usual school timing and routine from this date. Please note that Grades 9 and 10, which were earlier communicated as a holiday, are also required to attend school on 6 Magh. We kindly request parents to ensure that students come prepared with the required learning materials, in proper school uniform, and with a positive mindset for the new academic phase. The school team has been actively preparing to welcome students back and ensure a smooth and supportive transition after the break. Grade 10's coaching classes will also be conducted as well. (Tuesday), i.e., 20 January 2026. Although this day is marked as a holiday in the yearly planner, the school will operate as follows: * Grades 1 to 8: Regular classes will resume from 6 Magh 2082 B.S. (20 January 2026), Tuesday as rescheduled. Students of Grades 1 to 8 are required to attend school as usual. * Grades 9 and 10: On the same day, the school has planned mandatory Teacher Development Sessions for teachers teaching in Grades 9 and 10, including Instructional Supervisors and In-charges. Therefore, classes for Grades 9 and 10 will resume from 7 Magh 2082 B.S. (Wednesday), i.e., 21 January 2026.
